Trading platforms
Ordinary shares, preferred shares, warrants, government and municipal bonds, corporate bonds, beneficiary certificates and mutual funds are listed on the KRX. Equity trading represents most of the activity on the KRX. Although bonds are listed on the KRX, most bond trading is over-the-counter. Exchange traded funds are listed on the KOSPI markets.
Tradable lots
The board lot, which is the minimum number of shares applied to an order that an investor can place, is 1 share in both KOSPI and KOSDAQ market. Similarly, in free of payment transfers between the same IRC and off-exchanges trades, the minimum number of shares allowed for the transfer or trade is 1 share.
