CSD CASCADE FOP matching
The settlement of free of payment (FoP) transactions in CASCADE requires matching.
For this reason, Clearstream Banking AG, Frankfurt (CBF) offers two ways to enter receipt free of payment instructions:
- Active matching: for each delivery free of payment a receipt instruction has to be created by the receiving participant.
- Passive matching: for each delivery free of payment an automatic receipt instruction is created by CASCADE based on the delivery instruction. These receipt instructions cannot be deleted or amended by the receiving participant but will be removed if the delivering party revokes its delivery instruction.
