Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect launched
On 5 December, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect programme went live, providing a securities trading and clearing link between Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE).
Clearstream has extended its existing Stock Connect service to include this new link, allowing customers to benefit from settlement and custody services for China A-shares eligible under the programme.
Combined with our China Bond Link, this development allows eligible customers to access the full range of onshore Chinese securities instruments.
