CSDR penalties: Payments settlement transaction type indicator “PAIR”
Clearstream Banking1 informs clients
about the adaptation of EU Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR) penalties payments reporting from
1 July 2024
In Clearstream Banking internal payment free of delivery (PFODs) settlement instructions that are generated for clients to settle penalties payments, the settlement transaction type “22F::SETR//PAIR” will exclusively be used in the corresponding MT54x settlement confirmations and MT536/ MT537/ MT548 messages for CSDR penalties payments.
Transaction type “22F::SETR//TRAD” will no longer be used in penalties payments transactions reporting.
Note: There will be no impact on the daily and monthly MT537 PENA messages.
