Clearstream operational update VI
Further to the T2S incident on 27 February 2025, Clearstream Banking informs clients that the reconciliation of a small number of instructions is progressing with significant improvements.
The majority of corrections in CASCADE were booked until 6 March 2025 and we expect them to be completed in the coming days with the few remaining ones.
Clients are reminded, that positions in Xact Web Portal might not match with the positions shown in CASCADE. Positions in Xact Web Portal are still to be corrected.
Clearstream Banking advises that the appeal period for penalties for the month February 2025 has been extended until 25 March 2025.
Clients should note that discussions at European level about whether penalty fees will be applied continue. Therefore, for the time being, we ask clients to refrain from raising appeals linked to this incident.
