Finland & Sweden: New Related Reference (RELA) usage for tax instructions in Xact Web Portal
Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that, effective
10 June 2024
post-payment corrections can be provided for tax instructions, on the Finnish and Swedish markets, using Xact Web Portal.
Background
Corrections of previously sent tax instructions via formatted MT565 messages is already possible as follows:
The “Related Reference" (RELA) field in the MT565 is used:

Benefit for clients
Clients will now be able to link related CA instructions in Xact Web Portal to correct previously submitted tax instructions.
Xact Web Portal CA Instruction
The second Xact Web Portal CA Instruction is linked via the "Related Message Reference" to the first Tax Instruction.
It will be possible to identify and navigate between the linked related instructions (or Tax Instruction and BO Disclosure) using the “Go to” button.
