Croatia: Decrease of dividend withholding tax rate
Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that effective
1 January 2021
a decrease of the statutory withholding tax rate on dividend payments from 12% to 10% will be provided through an amendment to the law published in Official Gazette No. 138/2020 signed by the Croatian government on 11 December 2020.
Impact on customers
The amended tax rate will be applicable for dividends distributed as of 1 January 2021.
