Successful Business Continuity Management test with client participation
On Saturday, 12 October 2024, Clearstream Banking S.A. successfully performed a Business Continuity Management – Systems Unavailability test in which it offered clients the opportunity to participate.
The objective was to simulate the loss of one of the two data centres and to simulate the loss of one of the cloud services availability zones we use while production processing continued, thereby verifying that business activities could still be performed from the remaining data centre and the remaining availability zones.
Our IT and business teams validated the availability of business-critical applications and performed day-to-day business activities in Cork, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Prague and Singapore.
Clients had the opportunity to participate from locations in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia and reported successful results.
This again confirms the reliability of our systems and the continuous attention we pay to safeguarding our clients' business activities.
