Australia: Change of cash correspondent bank (CCB) for Australian Dollars (AUD)
Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform Transfer Agents of the change to its cash correspondent bank (CCB) for Australian Dollars (AUD).
Effective value date
8 February 2021
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) will be appointed as its CCB for AUD. As from this date, Transfer Agents will need to remit all proceeds (for example, redemption and income proceeds) into Clearstream Banking via ANZ instead of Westpac Banking Corp., Sydney (Westpac).
From now until 7 February 2021, Transfer Agents will still need to remit all proceeds to Clearstream Banking in AUD via the Westpac account. No AUD payments into Clearstream Banking should be remitted to Westpac from 8 February 2021 onwards.
