Vestima: November enhancements for Order Issuers and Master Participants
Clearstream Banking1 informs clients that Vestima will be further enhanced as of
18 November 2024.

Impact on Order Issuers (OIs)
Six-eyes authorisation flow will now require three independent users
At present, clients inputting trades in Vestima may choose to apply either a two, four or six-eyes authorisation flow.
Effective 18 November 2024, Clearstream Banking will improve this service to ensure that during the six-eyes flow, each step, (Input, Verify and Authorise) is completed by an independent user not involved in a previous step.
For clients who are currently using the six-eyes flow but without three independent users, Clearstream Banking advises that clients can choose from one of the following two options to ensure that they will continue to be able to seamlessly enter orders in Vestima on 18 November 2024.
- Option 1- Continue to use the six-eyes: In this case, clients should ensure that they have sufficient users with the correct permissions. Additional users can be set up via Xact Web Portal. Clients should contact their Relationship Manager for assistance if required.
- Option 2 - Move to the four-eyes flow: In advance of 18 November 2024, clients may wish to amend their client profile to operate Order Processing via the four-eyes flow. If this is the case, then this can be requested via the typical MT599 process. Clients should contact their Relationship Manager for assistance if required.
