Russia: Information on instructed DRs

Following Announcement A24066, Clearstream Banking1 informs clients that all instructed DRs in the Deutsche Bank, Citi and JP Morgan programmes that could not be converted within the given deadline have been returned to Clearstream Banking and credited back on the clients’ accounts.

Concerning the programmes of the DR agent BNY Mellon, the agent confirmed that a number of DRs could neither be converted nor returned to Clearstream Banking before the expiry of OFAC General License 100A.

BNY Mellon is in the process of reconciling those DRs and will keep Clearstream Banking informed about the status and consideration of these positions.

Clearstream Banking will further closely monitor the situation and stays in close contact with the DR agent BNY Mellon in order to clarify the next steps.

Clearstream Banking shall bear no responsibility and will not be held liable in case of any consequences, losses, or damages, which may be suffered by holders due to the rejection/reversal of the transactions.
