Kazakhstan: Change to settlement deadline - update
Note: This announcement, originally published on 15 July 2020, has been updated to provide information on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) and the Central Securities Depository (KACD) operational schedule. Changes are highlighted.
Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers that effective
immediately
the KASE and the KACD are returning to their normal operational schedule applicable before the COVID-19 quarantine period.
This announcement has a direct impact on the way the Kazakhstan market operates and interacts with the local CSD “KACD” and for which a special deadline has been requested by Clearstream Banking custodian Citibank J.S.C. Almaty.
Consequently, Clearstream Banking settlement deadlines have been reviewed.
Impact on customers
Please take note of the below information on the Clearstream Banking settlement deadline.
Securities settlement
Settlement instruction must be received by SD-2 21:00 CET and prior to SD 11:00 CET.
Cash settlement
No change to the current 10:00 CET Clearstream Banking deadline.
Customers are asked to adjust their instructions accordingly.
