User Group - List View

In this screen, the following information is mandatory:
  1. User Group name : Name of the User Group being created

  2. Service name : Service name of the User Group being created (NB: it is only possible to create a User Group for one and only one service)

  3. Description : Short description of the User Group being created.

  4. User Type : User type for the User Group being created.

  5. List of Grants : List of the Grants linked to the User Group being created (NB: except for the service "User Mangement", a grant must always link a Functional Role with at least one Resource Group, otherwise it won't be taken into account)

As already explained it is not possible todirectly grant a user with Functional Roles and Resource Groups. The process is to grant Functional Roles and Resource Groups to a User Group (via a grant), and all users that belong to that User Group will inherit its permissions (the action to add a user to a User Group is done via the User Portler - create or modifiy screens).

User Group - Create View

In the Create View or Detail View User Groups, in order to create a grant, the following actions need to be performed:

  1. Select a Service Name and a User Type.
  2. Based on what has been selected, the "Grant Selection" section will be displayed. Select (tick the check box) the Functional Roles (in column 1) that you want to grant to this User Group and the related Resource Group(s) (in column 2).
When all the mandatory fields have been filled, click on the "Submit" button to complete the creation of the User Group.

User Group - Create View
