Mutual/open ended funds are set up as collective investment scheme in Mauritius. Private equity funds is usually set up as close ended funds in Mauritius but can also be set up as a collective investment scheme. There are also self managed schemes in Mauritius which can be set up as both a collective investment scheme or a close ended fund.
