Summary
The CA Event domain allows you to retrieve all Corporate Action (CA) Reference for which you have holdings.It will allow you to display, to extract and to print the details retrieved.This domain is split into three main functions: Query, List View and Detailed View
CA Query
This query will allow you to retrieve the Corporate Action Reference based on specifc query parameters. Four parameters sections are present: Predefined, Quick Filters, Search by CA Events and Ordering
Predefined
The Predefined section in the CA Event Query is used to allow you to save and manage your own queries.
Two types of queries are available :
"Default" : These following queries are provided by XACT and cannot be removed neither updated.
"Custom"These queries are those that you have created and for which you have the full control.
"Predefined" Field Description

Query name | Drop Down (simple select) | This field contains all saved queries name that you are allow to select. |
"Predefined" Actions Description
Action Name | Action Type | Description |
Save query | Button | When clicking on the action button, a pop up will appears asking you to provide a name and description to the query that you are saving. All the query parameters will be taken into account in the query saved. |
Delete query | Button | This will allow you to delete only the "Customs" saved queries. |
Set as default | Button | Once clicking on this button action, you will set the query, specified in the "Query name" field, to be executed by default when you land the CA Event query. The query will be executed automatically. |
Quick filters
The Quick filters section provides a set of filters that represents a combination of different query parameters. These filters can be used with other query parameters.
Search by CA Events

Filed Name | Field Type | Description |
Corporate Action Ref. | Input Text | Contains the Corporate Action Reference of Clearstream. This field can contain a maximum of 10 references, separated with comma. |
Event Type | Drop Down (single select) | Contains all possible Corporate Action Event Types that can be managed by Clearstream. (Multiple selection is not allowed). |
Action Status | Drop Down (multi select) | Contains all the action statuses that can occur on Corporate Action Events. (Multiple selection is allowed). |
Processing Status | Drop Down (multi select) | Contains all the processing statuses that can occur on Corporate Action Events. (Multiple selection is allowed). |
CA Type | Drop Down (multi select) | Contains the type of events : Coprate Action or Certification |
Event Indicator | Drop Down (multi select) | Only active when the "Display Events without Holdings" is selected. It contains the status of the events Active or Inactive |
Market | Drop Down (multi select) | Contains all the markets. (Multiple selection is allowed) |
Mandatory/Voluntary | Drop Down (multi select) | Indicates if the event is Mandatory, Voluntary or Mandatory with choice. (Multiple selection is allowed) |
Account | Input and Lookup | Contains the accounts for which the query has to be executed. Only the accounts that you have been granted - via the Portal User Management - can be retrieved. A Lookup has been put in place in order to ease specific account(s) selection.A maximum of 10 accounts, with comma separator, is accepted. |

Financial Instrument | Input or Lookup | Contains the Financial Instrument for which the query has to be executed.A Lookup has been put in place in order to ease to retrieve specific Financial InstrumentA maximum of 10 Financial Instruments with comma separator is accepted. |
Description | Output Text | Contains the descirpion of the Financial Instrument selected |
Place of Safekeeping | Output Text | Contains the Place of safekeeping of the Financial Instrument selected. If several safekeeping place are available for the same Financial Instrument, the field is replaced by a drop down where all the safekeeping place are listed. Only one value is possible in the drop down list. |
Date | Drop Down (single select) and Calendar date | Contains the type of date and the requested timestamp. Only "between" and "equal" operators are available. |
Notification Timestamp | Calendar date | This query parameter is used to retrieved all the last notification received on a specific range of time. |
Set Current Calendar Date | Tick box | This field is used for the "Saved Queries" in order to always use the current calendar date in the time range of the Notification timestamp field. |
Set Current Business Date | Tick box | This field is used for the "Saved Queries" in order to always use the current business date in the Date field query parameter. |

Actions Description

Count | Button | It will count the number of rows that will be returned by the query |
Reset | Button | it will reset all the parameters of the query screen. |
CA List View
Once the query has been executed, in case the system finds result(s), the list of CA events that match the query parameters is displayed.The list view is composed of two kinds of rows:

MT568 Flag | Indicates the presence of an MT568 received on the CA Event. |

Notification Timestamp | Indicates when the last notification of CA Event has been received |
Action Status | Contains the CA Event actions that is requested |
Processing Status | Indicates if the processing status of the event |
Event Indicator | Indicates if the event is still active or not |

Query Actions Description

Open Detail | Button | When clicking on the action button, you will be redirected to the CA Detailed view of the event(s) selected. |
Go To - Related CA Instructions details | Button | It will count redirect you on the CA Instructions list view where all the related CA instruction will be displayed. |
Create CA Instruction | Button | It will redirect the user to the CA Instruction where some fields will be automatically pre-filled with the CA Event selected. |
Export - all | Button | it will export all the rows returned by the query (whatever if selected or not). |
Export - list | Button | it will export the current list displayed at the screen. |
Export - selected | Button | it will export the selected rows |
Print - all | Button | it will print all the rows returned by the query (whatever if selected or not). |
Print - list | Button | it will print the current list displayed at the screen. |
Print - selected | Button | it will print the selected rows |
Refresh | Button | it will re-execute the current query and will refresh the rows displayed. |
Configure | Button | it will allow you to configure the column that you want to display in the list view |
CA Detailed View
The CA Detailed View displays all the information available on the Corporate Action Reference.As one CA Event can be impacted by several accounts, each tab count a filtering section called "Account Specific".In this section, you can filter on one or several accounts. Only the information related to the account(s) selected will be displayed.
Summary : this tab presents the CA Event graphical view. It will allow you to have a timeline view on the event and see all event and options dates.

Go To - Related Settlement Security Instructions | Button | It will redirect the user to all Settlement Security instructions already created for the CA Event selected |
Create CA Instruction | Button | It will redirect the user to the CA Instruction where some fields will be automatically pre-filled with the CA Event selected. |
Refresh | Button | It will refresh the complete CA Detailed View (including all tabs). |
Close | Button | It will close the current CA Detail view |
